When it comes to the economy, there's a disconnect between how it's doing on paper and what polls say about how people feel.

Voters' views on the overall economy have also improved but are still underwater: 67% rated economic conditions as negative and 30% said positive. Before and after his State of the Union address last week, members of President Joe Biden's administration went on a media blitz promoting his Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President Tom Perez told reporters, "We recognize we still have a heck of a lot of work to do."
