A young Aussie recently crowned “Australia’s fastest cleaner” has revealed the budget supermarket product he swears by for a sparkling home — and his top cleaning secrets. Professional Jason Shipway, 22, went head to head with five other cleaning fanatics in what was called the Olympics of Cleaning, the VIVA House of Spills Challenge. He emerged victorious after managing to clean a fully-white house in a record two minutes and 14 seconds, armed only with VIVA’s fast-absorbing paper towel.
“Often people will do one big clean a week, but this creates the feeling of a really big cleaning job, and often takes more time as mess and spills all pile up and add time in the long run,” he explained. Instead, Jason recommends tackling one small cleaning task each day, or every second day. This makes the cleaning job feel less “big” and saves time longer-term as you’re cleaning as you go.
