Presented by the Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation in partnership with NBC and Telemundo owned stations in 11 markets, NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants is strengthening our communities by providing unrestricted funds to eligible local nonprofit organizations with total expenses less than $1,000,000. In 2024, our station will award $227,272 to qualifying nonprofits.
From March 19 to April 19, 2024, this station will accept applications for NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants in the three categories described below:In-school and out-of-school programs that equip youth with the tools they need to succeed, including STEM/ STEAM education and youth entrepreneurship.Programs that promote access and develop pathways for emerging talent and youth voices from underrepresented communities to explore careers in arts, news, sports and entertainment.
Organizations must be located within one of the 11 NBC and Telemundo television markets and provide services in the same area:NBC 4 New York and Telemundo 47 Nueva YorkNBC 6 South Florida and Telemundo 51 MiamiLewisville
