Several varieties of dumplings and spring rolls sold at Asian grocery stores in multiple states have been recalled due to the presence of an undeclared allergen. Food Standards Australia and New Zealand is issuing a recall for some of the Bibigo dumplings and Cau Tre spring rolls manufactured by CJ Nutracon Pty Ltd. The impacted products include: The products have been sold at asian grocery stores in NSW, ACT and QLD.
“Any consumers who have an egg allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” FSANZ said. “Consumers who have an egg allergy or intolerance should not consume this product.” Last week FSANZ also recalled the Bibigo Mini Mandu Prawn Dumplings 270g due to the undeclared presence of egg. The product was sold at Woolworths in NSW, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and WA.
