At the beginning of 2022, in the last year of his carpentry apprenticeship, the worst happened to Jonty White. The young tradie suffered an onsite injury to areas of his thoracic and cervical spine that meant he couldn’t continue in the job he loved. It was heartbreaking for him and his family but, in an attempt to keep positive, he began to think about areas in the construction industry he might be able to do something to improve.
As well as being for customers, One Click Tradies is also created for the tradies themselves, providing them with a platform and an opportunity to connect with customers within their selected radius. With over 1,000 tradespeople eager to find more work and 750 customers already signed up, One Click Tradies has successfully connected over 150 customers with quality tradespeople during its six-month live test phase.
