A flight from Melbourne to Perth was forced to make a priority landing in Western Australia on Monday. Aircraft pilots for QF781 were reportedly forced to turn off an engine before requesting a priority landing.

Qantas flight forced to make an emergency landing on flight from Melbourne to Perth According to Flight Aware, the aircraft landed 52 minutes after it was scheduled, landing at 9:37pm . On Tuesday, the incident was reported on Sunrise by Nat Barr, after confirming the emergency landing with the airline. “There were reports that the plane had lost an engine from passengers on social media overnight,” Barr said.
