Economy Ministry: T20 M'sians May Still Get Targeted Subsidies, But Only If They Register for PADU

With registration for the Central Database Hub due in just 4 days, the Economy Ministry is now ramping up efforts to get Malaysians to sign up for the database, touted to be the most comprehensive database established by the Malaysian government to date.

The Ministry further elaborated that the Federal Government will be implementing targeted subsidies this year, replacing the current blanket subsidy. Therefore, the Economy Ministry stressed that even the T20 group may get targeted subsidies if their net income after subtracting variables is the same as the M40 group.Nevertheless, these groups may get dropped if their data in the database is missing i.e. if they don’t register for PADU.
