Matildas midfielder Katrina Gorry is in doubt to be fit for the Paris Olympics later this year after confirming she has suffered an ankle injury. The experienced Aussie star’s Women’s Super League season for West Ham is over after injuring her right foot during last weekend’s loss to Chelsea. She was spotted on crutches during the game and in a moon boot afterwards, but had stayed silent publicly until a social media post on Thursday morning.

She has four months to get herself fit for the start of the Games, but her return-to-play timeline is still unclear, having revealed nothing about the extent or nature of the injury. West Ham are also yet to make comment on the setback.
