The future make-up of the AFL competition could be in for a major change sooner than we think. With Tasmania about to become the AFL’s 19th team, SANFL powerhouse Norwood are keen to make that number even and are hoping to become the 20th club.

powerhouse Norwood wants to be the AFL’s 20th team. Norwood are one of South Australia’s oldest and most successful clubs and they will host two AFL games during this weekend’s Gather Round. 7NEWS sports reporter Josh Money said there was no better time for Norwood to make their AFL case and Redlegs official were “desperate to showcase their club” on the national stage.
