Opposition leader Bill Shorten is being pressured to reveal the costings of his carbon plan, following scathing backlash from the government. The Labor Party announced its climate policy on Monday, outlining plans to cut carbon emissions by 45 per cent on 2005 levels over the next decade.
Mr Shorten has described the plan as an extension of Malcolm Turnbull's 'safeguard mechanism', and seeks to put a limit on pollution by big industries.
