PETALING JAYA: Datuk Paddy Abd Halim has been appointed the new Customs Department director-general effective April 1, says the Finance Ministry.

Its minister Lim Guan Eng said Paddy's appointment was to replace Datuk Seri Subromaniam Tholasy who had retired on March 9.
