Umpire Andrew Stephens goes down after collision with Scott Pendlebury. Pendlebury was stuck between Stephens and his Carlton opponent Adam Cerra, unable to avoid contact when the umpire backed straight into his path, who then became collateral damage. Stephens’s head jolted back in a concerning whiplash-type motion as he let out an audible grunt. He immediately fell to the ground on his hands and knees, but was able to stagger back to his feet and continue on.
