THE Malaysian economy is expected to experience moderate growth in 2019 due to challenging external factors, said Deputy Economic Affairs Minister Mohd Radzi Md Jidin. He said one of the factors was the US federal government’s temporary shutdown which lasted for 35 days, from December 22, 2018, to January 25 this year – the longest government shutdown in the US history.
