CNBC's Jim Cramer on Wednesday weighed in on the stocks of Shopify, Reddit and more companies that just reported earnings.

Jim Cramer's daily rapid fire looks at stocks in the news outside the CNBC Investing Club portfolio. Shopify : Shares tumbled around 20% after the e-commerce platform said its second-quarter gross margins were expected to be lower than the first quarter. "This company has traditionally beat and raised," Jim Cramer said Wednesday. "This is at $62. The people who are selling it are afraid it goes to $60. It will not go to $58.

Uber Technologies : Shares fell 8% after the ride-hailing company's first-quarter gross bookings and current-quarter outlook for the same metric came in light. "Inexplicable. I was surprised. This is one of those things that could be a brown shoot ," Cramer said. "This is one that I have do a deeper dive on, frankly, because it didn't make sense to me.
