He said the performance of newly listed companies on the local stock exchange in 2024 has also been quite strong, with a majority of the 13 new companies listed year-to-date having closed above their initial public offering prices as of the end of April 2024.“In fact, five of the IPOs enjoyed price appreciation of more than 50 per cent,” he said in his opening remarks at the two-day Bursa Marketplace Fair 2024 at Suria Sabah Shopping Mall in Kota Kinabalu today.
