The 2023 Austin City Limits Music Festival generated $499.9 million for Austin's economy and donated $8.1 million to the city's parks, bringing the total contributions to over $3.5 billion and $63 million respectively since the festival's inception.
The economic impact figure, derived from an annual study, equates to more than 3,700 full-time jobs across various sectors in Austin, said Emmett Beliveau, director of C3 Presents, the festival's production partner. Kimberly McNeely, director of the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, said the festival funding has supported projects throughout the city's park system. "Please never forget Austin is Austin Parks," she said. "They're part of the quality of life that Austinites are able to enjoy."
