Accused drug trafficker Gregor Haas has sent a message to his famous son, Broncos star Payne Haas. In an exclusive, 7NEWS has been given unprecedented access to the prison in the Philippines where Gregor Haas is being held.

Gregor Haas speaks exclusively to 7NEWS. Haas, 46, spoke only to gun 7NEWS reporter Rachel Baxter. It is the first time anyone has heard directly from the alleged smuggler after 7NEWS was granted special access to speak to him for a few minutes at the door of his prison cell. Due to strict laws in the Philippines, Seven cameras weren’t allowed to film the prisoner. “But I did ask him how the conditions were ... as you can imagine, they’re very basic,” Baxter said.
