Diners have been thrown from their seats when an out-of-control BMW smashed through the front of a restaurant in Melbourne’s southeast. The 77-year-old driver had three passengers in the car when he is believed to have hit the accelerator instead of the brake and drove straight into the Lobster Cave in Beaumaris on Wednesday just before 9pm.
