A teenage boy has been hospitalised after he was allegedly assaulted in a violent home invasion in Sydney’s south-west about 10.40pm on Monday night. Gunshots were reported as three men allegedly ambushed the Tahmoor home, before fleeing on foot without physically injuring an 18-year-old girl and infant who were also inside at the time. The 18-year-old boy was not shot, but NSW Police said paramedics treated him for other injuries allegedly sustained as a result of the assault on Lintina St.
Investigations into the alleged home invasion and assault are ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers. Tahmoor locals have previously told of how they had given up calling police for help. The nearest police station is 40 minutes away in Narellan, and several told 7NEWS in March that they and their kids were “scared” following theft and break-in attempts at their homes.
