Domino’s Pizza was inundated with applicants keen to score the $100 per hour hand model role advertised by the fast-food restaurant chain last month — but it has found a winner. Logan man Matt Strain, 39, was selected for the job, and he told 7NEWS.com.au on Friday the relatability of his mitts gave him the upper hand.

Strain enjoyed his first, and potentially last, day of work as a hand model on Thursday, as the job was “basically a one-off,” Strain said. “But who knows what the future holds. If, you know, the public are demanding a return of my hands, who am I to deny the public?” He said it was the perfectly ordinary appearance of his hands that set him apart from more than 100 other candidates.
