The BIMP-EAGA Business Council emphasised the importance of integrating socio-economic development with the generation of new energy sources to support sustainable water supply. According to BENC Sabah, the study will also assess poverty alleviation strategies in the targeted districts, aligning with the advice from Sabah Special Envoy BIMP-EAGA, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia.The collaboration with Sedco is seen as a strategic move to enhance state revenue through a long-term business development plan focused on Green and Blue Economic Growth Initiatives.
The presence of key Sedco officials such as Azrul Ahmad and Yahyah Sidek underscored the commitment to collaboration for sustainable economic development.
