A man has been arrested on a Virgin Australia flight at Melbourne Airport. The man was arrested by Australia Federal Police officers before the flight had taken off on Tuesday.

Man arrested on Virgin flight in Melbourne. “The AFP responded to a request for assistance from airline staff at Melbourne Airport on Tuesday,” an AFP spokesperson said. The man was reported for alleged aggressive and disruptive behaviour. Video from the flight obtained by 7NEWS shows the man speaking with three officers — a man and two women — who direct him to get off the flight.
