Customers of Bendigo Bank reported being locked out of the bank’s online services and app, with many left in the lurch unable to access their money. The bank said it was aware of the issue on Thursday afternoon, and said the outage was affecting its e-banking and app. In an update at 1.45pm, Bendigo Bank confirmed the issue had been resolved. “Our e-banking and app have been restored to full service,” it said.
“If your issues still remain, please contact our customer service team on 1300 236344 or visit your local branch. “We thank you for your patience and understanding during this unplanned outage.” Earlier, affected customers complained they could not transfer money, leaving them unable to pay for things while out and about. “I need to go shopping, I need to transfer money, this is so unprofessional,” one said.
