Some people banking with Halifax, Lloyds, Royal Bank of Scotland and NatWest experienced logging-in issues.

Two banking groups have apologised after customers experienced problems accessing their online accounts.

Some people banking with Lloyds Banking Group, which includes Lloyds Bank and Halifax, were among those affected by issues with internet and mobile banking services on Monday morning. RBS, which owns NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland, also said a small number of its customers may have experienced problems logging into online and mobile banking for a short period.One tweeted to Halifax:"So no one can sign into online banking!"This just happens to be the day before I go on holiday and I need to transfer money so I can withdraw it and exchange it.
