Thirty-two percent of Americans said that the president's handling of the economy made them more likely to oppose him in the next presidential election.

President Donald Trump has regularly touted his economic success, but a new poll shows that the commander in chief's handling of trade and economic policies has made some voters more likely to oppose him in the 2020 election.

The results were split along party lines. While 9 percent of Democrats said that Trump's handling of the economy made them more likely to support the president, 54 percent said the president's positions had made them more likely to oppose him. Conversely, 77 percent of Republicans said that Trump economics had made them more likely to support him, and only six percent said his policies made them more likely to oppose him.

In addition to passing tax reform legislation, the president has heavily pushed deregulation and touted the country's economic growth and job creation.

Polls. They said Hillary was a shoe in. Polls. Just bullshit.
