Labor frontbencher Ed Husic says ‘it’s not sustainable to maintain taxation concessions in a range of areas’ that have existed under the Coalition.

FULL INTERVIEW: Mr Husic says Labor will ‘reform those concessions’ as part of the party’s ‘serious attempt to reform the budget and ensure we get a stronger economic surplus’.

The Shadow Digital Economy Minister has told Sky News that his party is committed to restoring penalty rates, bringing in a living wage and making sure people feel secure in their work. He says Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Treasurer Josh Frydenberg appear to have been at ‘one of those hypnosis sessions where the reality they’re seeing is quite different to the reality we’re experiencing’.
