Its inevitable. However, the hope of opening up other development along the rail line wld help to mediate losses. Spin off industries & development cld happen. But it may required external investors to make it happen.
It won't bleed for years...it will bleed forever and we'll be stuck with it and eventually become a white elephant...and our ministers and advisors should take a look at what happened to Sri Lanka's mega projects
