President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha, has rubbished the N500bn Social Investment Programme of her husband’s administration, saying that it failed “woefully” in the North in particular.

Aisha, who hails from Adamawa State, said the situation in her home state, as far as the implementation was concerned, was pathetic.

For instance, she disclosed that though Uwais informed her that 30,000 women would be beneficiaries in Adamawa State, four years had passed and there was no evidence that the SA kept her word. She went on, “Concerning the N500bn voted for SIP, that was part of 2015 campaigns where they promised to give out N10,000, feed pupils in primary schools and give N5,000 to the poorest of the poor.

“We have a lot of women that do business locally due to the cultural thing in the North, they are at home doing their business. Some are millionaires, some have thousands of naira, they need the assistance but they do not get it. Most northern women do not belong to any market association. Amid applause from women in the hall, Mrs Buhari also criticised the $16m counterpart fund said to have been used so far on procurement of mosquito nets.

Sorry to ask, is it after the investment that it failed or are they thinking that it will fail if they invest it, cause the way things lost and fail in the government am shocked oh

Some are saying N500bn and N600bn, As it has failed in the north, which part of Nigeria did it work

Asked your husband to send Osibanjo & his partners to prison

Your husband failure can not be measured

Not only in the north, it has failed in the South and Nigeria as a whole. Collosal failure

Who made it fall? A leadership crisis instigated by the nation,s elite.

Failure failure If you spend 20bn, you tell us is N500bn. When did it started and failed?

What do you mean by ....'failed in North'? Where did it work?

Why?. Corruption!

500 billion. Chaii

With more than 40,000 traders in Adamawa State who have benefited from the Federal Government’s ‘TraderMoni’ loan scheme. Or they should give you to handle it so that you can handpick people from Adamawa only?

aishambuhari too bad for you if really said so

With more than 40,000 traders in Adamawa State who have benefited from the Federal Government’s ‘TraderMoni’ loan scheme. The First Lady shouldn’t have made such a statement.

If the president had poured adulation on his deputy over the successes of the programmes, how come his wife saying the opposite? She should know better than play politics with this humanitarian project.

Her Excellency missed the point. SIP hasn’t failed in anyway with so many testimonials from beneficiaries nationwide.

But she can’t know the impact of the social investment pprogrammes from her interaction with one 74-year-old man. That is a very faulty methodology.

Aisha Buhari aishambuhari misses the Point on Social Investment Programmes. Please, get accurate information before coming on air to misinform some people from the same government you're benefiting from. Haba!

Ask for more Aisha.

The First Lady has gotten it wrong. It is obvious she is not given the domineering space to hijack the programme as in the case of past first ladies. The fact is that Nigerians are very grateful for the programme

The First Lady misses the point. Social Investment Programmes is a National programme meant for the entire country not only Adamawa State.

After the election, now u know it has failed in d north...did u just know this ma? One day, ur husband will leave office, and then a huge corruption can of worms will be opened and 'disintegrity ' will be out in d open.

I disagree with you because I know that Npower has at least 10,000 beneficiaries on it's payroll from each of the 36 State across the country. The program didn't fail rather more funds are needed to accommodate more people.

SIPInTheNorth

SIPInTheNorth Our Dear First Lady is not correct on this one. The facts are there for checking

Our First Lady is not correct here

Frankly speaking the money is too little to capture everyone living in poverty in Nigeria. If we want to capture everyone we need atleast N5 trillion, at the moment we don't have such money, the little we have has to be rationed which means few people will get it and many won't.

It's like her list for appointments have been rejected once again. If so then her public criticisms are in order and isn't a surprise. Aisha wanted to be a rebaptised Mama Pieces, but PMB and his gang wouldn't let her near the cookie jar nor the juice coven.

Speak to ur husband n oshibande.

She is lying see testimonies from beneficiaries of npower_ng 5000 conditional cash transfer HUPcct school feeding NHGSFP and Trader_Moni .

Ironies of life. A non-politician and a woman is speaking to truths. Madam pls keep talking as everyone else is hiding.

That money was used for your Husband aka Lifeless Re-election.

When the whole government issa failure already 😡

Why it no go failed when it was handled by🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️
