Economy would be greatly boosted if State & Fed Gov gave major Contracts to Aussie coys. Maybe higher $ due to higher wages, worker's rights & adherence to OH&S. The 'Aussie' benfit surely out weighs supposed $ savings. Many overseas contracts blow out due 2 poor end product etc.
Wouldn’t we be better off using the money to encourage new businesses in the renewable energy sector, tech, electric vehicles etc. Surely just building more roads just encourages short term employment and does nothing to expand our economy long term.
