US President Donald Trump's rhetoric is having a tangible impact on the global economy, according to Wall Street Journal senior economics writer James Glynn.
President Trump has agreed to resume talks with China, as the two countries continue to wage an economically damaging trade war. The president has levied $350 billion worth of tariffs on Chinese goods, while Bejing has retaliated with its own economic measures. Mr Glynn told Sky News the ongoing trade war "has already damaged" the global economy, and that any good work "can be undone" by a Presidential tweet.
