LONDON - British finance minister Sajid Javid said on Sunday Prime Minister Boris Johnson will not ask for a Brexit delay at an EU summit next month, but will instead press to secure a deal to smooth Britain’s departure from the bloc. “First of all, the prime minister will go to the council meeting on the 17th and 18th , he’ll be trying to strike a deal. He absolutely will not be asking for an extension in that meeting,” Javid told the BBC’s Andrew Marr show.

He said the bill to force the government to ask for an extension to Brexit talks only has Oct. 19 as a deadline for parliament to either back a deal or leaving without an agreement, and that that was the date the government was watching. “The bill talks about the 19th being an important date and at that point we will consider our options but our policy is clear. It is unchanged, we will be leaving on Oct. 31,” he said. “We will obey all laws because all governments should obey laws absolutely, but you will have to wait and see what happens then.”

What deal?

Yeah, send the person who who is known to be ok with a No-deal Brexit, to talk about a deal. That's like showing everyone your hand, in a poker game.

What part of “this is the only deal on the table” don’t you guys understand? - you’re hollow- what kind of clinical denial example is this...!? Still trying to fool people w/ an act of fake strength? You want out? Fine - have to pay the price (and not just in form of £££)

Next episode of ...

He hasn’t done so far, he’s too busy touring the country trying to pretend all is well. He’s playing games with people’s livelihoods.

And he has a rainbow unicorn Garden Bridge to sell you.

Do it . either deal or no deal . Ambiguity since so long

This should go well.

Good for him . British people voted leave and he is doing that on 31.10 so what's the problem

Good luck

He’s not interested in a deal.

He will obey the rule of law by disobeying it.
