KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 — The government will increase its current allocation for subsidies and social aid from RM22.3 billion this to RM24.2 billion next year, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng announced today. “In 2019, the BSH benefited 3.9 million households. Starting next year, the government will allocate RM5 billion for BSH and expand on this scheme so that it covers 1.1 million unmarried individuals above 40 who have a monthly income of less than RM2,000.
