Property expert Nerida Conisbee says the Australian property market is 'looking brighter and brighter every week'.

Property expert Nerida Conisbee says the Australian property market is "looking brighter and brighter every week". Ms Conisbee told Sky News clearance rates are "pretty high," approaching about 80 per cent and strong growth in “premium suburbs” in Sydney is trickling to other areas.

While the sales market is accelerating, the rental sector is grappling with the issue of Airbnb as many tenants do not declare income earned through the service, Ms Conisbee said. “It is an issue, people do need to pay their taxes and it does mess around with rental markets." Image: Getty
