CitySamuel Yes. Property rights, voluntary trade and honouring contracts. It's ethical, moral and works. Unlike Socialism which presumes everyone to be equal, the poor to be virtuous and blameless and the rich to be corrupt and exploitative. Socialism is for the resentful & irresponsible.
CitySamuel We don't, as a society, entrust anything of vital importance to capitalism (at least, not without subjecting it to strict public scrutiny). The education of our children? Our health? The defence of the realm? Policing? Our roads? All far too important to leave to market forces!
