A former Peel Thunder footballer who spent days in hospital in a critical condition after a car he was in slammed into a light pole has become the third young man to tragically die from the crash. Tributes for Harley Corbett, 22, Jermayne Smith, 25, and Brandon Krakouer, 24, have flooded social media after a white Holden Commodore containing five men veered off Wallwork Road in Wedgefield and hit a light pole around 9.20pm on June 10.
Brittany Krakouer has since posted a series of tributes for her brother — which has been met with support from loved ones. A white cross with the name Brandon ‘Banner’ Krakouer was placed in the ground in his honour before it was surrounded by floral tributes. Ms Krakouer said Harley’s death in hospital was a day she will always remember.
