The event comes after China's state media said HSBC played a role in the arrest of Huawei's finance chief.

On Friday, an article in China's official People’s Daily newspaper said HSBC had"framed” Huawei and played a role in the arrest of the company's finance chief Meng Wanzhou.

It also said “HSBC has no malice against Huawei, nor has it ‘framed’ Huawei”. In response, another Beijing-controlled newspaper, The Global Times, said:"Chinese observers called HSBC's statement 'not persuasive' at all". The campaign against Huawei by President Donald Trump's administration has led to the UK and Australia banning the company from building their 5G networks.

The companies were also told they must remove all of the Chinese firm's 5G kit from their networks by 2027.

China is getting s taste of things to come tough shit

Business relationships are built on trust. Very difficult to trust Huawei, and very difficult to trust anything coming out of China. The tide has turned on China, time to look elsewhere.

How about reporting real news like this or is the narrative not to liking. Disgusting bias!

Everyone is rushing to attack Huawei, but there is no evidence to prove Huawei's guilt. This is actually persecution carried out in the name of a group.
