Hundreds of additional Defence Force reservists could be recruited under a plan that brings forward spending on existing military projects to boost the COVID-19 hit Australian economy.Much of the $1 billion package has already been unveiled
Ahead of the announcement, Mr Morrison acknowledged Australia's defence industry was struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic, like much of the economy."Supporting our defence industry is all part of our JobMaker plan — especially high-paying, high-skilled jobs that ensure we are supporting a robust, resilient and internationally competitive defence industry.
There will also be a push to recruit up to 500 additional ADF Reservists, creating part-time employment for personnel at an average of 50 days per year.
$1 Billion? How many Heavy, Medium & Light Aerial Fire Tankers, Fully Paid Fire Fighters with Full Equipment & Resources? How many Lives Saved? How much Flora & Fauna Saved? How Much Property & Land? 5 Tankers for just one of these Lemons!
Join the army, go to interesting places, meet interesting people and kill them.

Great to see ADF reserve being built up. However 4,000 jobs & an extra 500 reservists overall is a drop in the ocean. Our armed forces are tiny in comparison to land mass we may need to defend or assist our allies. Now would be a good time to really boost numbers 20-30k or more.
Like I said Scumo is awesome. You can sleep now.
