In what will be the most important budget of modern times, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg is set to focus on Australia’s youth in a bid to inject much needed life-blood into the economy. “All eyes tomorrow night on Josh Frydenberg,” according to Sky News host Peter Gleeson.

The Australian is reporting “average families will receive up to $5000 in income tax relief and young Australians will be targeted through a back-to-work wage subsidy”. The Treasurer is set to offer a “jobs lifeline” for close to 700,000 Australians under the age of 35 forced onto JobSeeker during the pandemic-enforced recession, according to The Australian.
