"If I'd been sitting at that speech, I would've probably stood up to clap at those comments," Peter Bragdon, the general counsel for Columbia Sportswear, told Insider."This industry is very aggressive with noncompetes.
The former Nike workers who noted recent noncompete agreements on their LinkedIn profiles either declined Insider's requests for comment or didn't return LinkedIn messages.Having worked at Nike for at least eight years, each is an industry veteran, but none are at the upper-management level traditionally associated with noncompete agreements.
