KUALA LUMPUR: There will be no compromises to passenger comfort and safety even with RM23.84bil shaved off the LRT3 and MRT2 rail projects, says Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng.

"Although the government has taken the approach to lower the costs of the projects, the quality of work must be guaranteed to ensure passenger safety and comfort," he said when answering a supplementary question raised by Wong Kah Woh in Parliament on March 27.
