‘Escape From Tarkov’ Shows Off Factory Map Rework At TwitchCon

‘The Acolyte’ Rotten Tomatoes Score Keeps Falling, And Maybe It Should If We Ever Hope To Find Balance In The Forcehas been shown off to the public for the first time at TwitchCon Europe, with a tournament showing the map off set to take place.promised to overhaul one of the oldest and most outdated maps to make it more than just an area you go to for quests or to try and cheese some strategies.

The rework was teased earlier in the week, but now at TwitchCon attendees have got a look at the whole thing, revealing a very different looking map that still retains a lot of the general layout and areas of interest from the original factory map. Throughout the weekend, a tournament on the new factory map is taking place at the event, with prizes up for grabs for those who perform the best. This means that real players are getting hands on with the rework, so in the coming hours we will hopefully get some detailed opinions on how it plays, given we have only seen non-gameplay screenshots and footage so far.

From what we have seen, the overall style of the factory map has changes considerably, going from an almost completely destroyed building with lots of rubble to a more factory like building with large machines and vats. The layout seems to be similar to what it originally was, with multiple levels and a variety of wide open spaces and tight corridors.

The expected release for the reworked factory map is alongside the next wipe in August, but until then you can expect to get a lot more end of wipe events, such as the recent one thatstreams, this also includes Twitch Drops, and getting them is incredibly easy.from TwitchCon Europe, you will need to log into Twitch and watch the official Battlestate Games channel while it is broadcasting from TwitchCon this weekend.
