Two men connected to US President Donald Trump's personal lawyer have been arrested over alleged campaign finance violations in the latest development in the impeachment saga. Prosecutors believe Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman sought to skirt foreign interference laws, to funnel money to political candidates.
The pair have been central to President Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Guiliani's efforts to convince Ukranian officials to look into Joe Biden and his son Hunter which triggered the current impeachment inquiry into the president.
